Letra Look at me now A shadow of the man I used to be Look through my eyes And through the years of loneliness, you'll see To the times in my life When I could not bear to lose a simple game And the least of it all was the fortune and the fame But the dream seemed to end Just as soon as it had begun, was I to know? For the least thing of all that was on my mind Was the close at the end of the show The shadow of a lonely man feels nobody else In the shadow of a lonely, lonely man I can see myself But the sounds of the crowds When they come to see me now is not the same And the jest of it all is I can't recall my name But I'll cling to a hope 'til I can't hold on anymore, anymore And for all the acclaim, I am all alone And I see as I look through the door The shadow of a lonely m...

Letra I remember you well in the Chelsea Hotel You were talkin' so brave and so sweet Givin' me head on the unmade bed While the limousines wait in the street Those were the reason an' that was New York We were runnin' for the money and the flesh An' that was called love for the workers in song Probably still is for those of them left Ah, but you got away, didn't you babe You just turned your back on the crowd You got away, I never once heard you say I need you, I don't need you I need you, I don't need you And all of that jiving around I remember you well in Chelsea Hotel You were famous, your heart was a legend You told me again you preferred handsome men But for me you would make an exception An' clenching your fist for the ones like us Who are oppressed by the figures of beauty You fixed yourself, you said, "Well, never mind We are ugly but we have the music" ...

Letra I have seen the compass turning Round and round my heart The senses are yearning For a possible change of heart That is coming to you Coming to you. You stand upright, you are different Why the spinal shock the fusion the evil Spill it out on the floor of belief Come and mend this design Come and mend this design With every right we do. I have seen the sun, this sounds crazy The story about a boy in the rain He was standing waiting for for the light As though he did have a reason to know Did he really know? His eyes were open they expected someone In his heart he felt the compass was turned on I will echo, ho for reasons that change me Every thought, though it takes son long, Is mastered with every plan It would seem there is no end To the bad or goodness in man So my friend it seems the weariest night Just leads to a heavenly dawn Should we see so much I...
